line-height: 20px; margin-bottom: 15px;">由美国众议院少数党领袖南希·佩洛西（Nancy Pelosi）率领的国会高级两党八人组成的代表团结束在尼泊尔的访问之后，于星期二（5月9日）抵达藏人行政中央所在地印度达兰萨拉。</p><p style="font-size: 14px; line-height: 20px; margin-bottom: 15px;">代表团成员包括吉姆•森森布伦纳（Jim Sensenbrenner）、艾略特•恩格尔（Eliot Engel）、吉姆•麦克高文（Jim McGovern）、贝蒂•麦卡伦姆（Betty McCollum）、赵美心（Judy May Chu）、乔伊斯•比蒂（Joyce Beatty）和普拉米亚•杰亚帕尔（Pramila Jayapal）。</p><p style="font-size: 14px; line-height: 20px; margin-bottom: 15px;">西藏精神领袖达赖喇嘛亲临仪式，并发表演说时对美国政府长期支持西藏表达了感谢，强调用慈悲取代武力来化解问题。</p><p style="font-size: 14px; line-height: 20px; margin-bottom: 15px;">达赖喇嘛说：“目前所存在的西藏问题，对汉人无益，也对藏人无益，而这个问题必须要解决，但是中国政府在藏镇压60余年，问题始终没有得到解决。镇压只能给人带来猜忌和恐惧，而产生恐惧就无法获得和谐，没有和谐就解决不了问题。藏民族是消灭不了的，而会一直存在，既然存在就应和谐相处，才会有稳定，有了稳定，对汉藏双方都有好处。这次我们聚在这里，绝对不是在对抗汉民族，也许中方媒体会以‘美国反动势力和达赖反动势力的集聚’来形容今天这样的场合，但实际情况并非如此，我们考虑的是汉藏间的互惠互利，也一向把汉民族当作朋友来对待，从未有敌友之分。”</p><p style="font-size: 14px; line-height: 20px; margin-bottom: 15px;">藏人行政中央司政洛桑森格和西藏人民议会议长索南丹培分别致辞欢迎和感谢南希·佩洛西率团再度访问达兰萨拉，并通过介绍西藏在中国政府的高压政策下所遭遇的处境，包括藏人自焚事件、喇荣五明佛学院僧舍被强拆及僧尼被强制驱逐等现状，呼吁美国新政府继续支持中间道路政策，促使达赖喇嘛特使和中国政府代表尽早恢复谈判。</p><p style="font-size: 14px; line-height: 20px; margin-bottom: 15px;">2008年3月，时任美国众议院议长的南希·佩洛西女士率领国会代表团到访达兰萨拉，出席西藏自由抗暴四十九周年纪念仪式，并发表演说对当时处在极其严峻的西藏境内处境表达了声援。</p><p style="font-size: 14px; line-height: 20px; margin-bottom: 15px;">这次佩洛西一行再度造访达兰萨拉引起中国政府的抗议。中国外交部发言人耿爽星期三在例行记者会上回应说：“美国议员前往达兰萨拉会见达赖，对外发出了支持藏独的严重错误信号，违反美国政府关于不支持藏独的承诺，中国表示坚决反对，并已向美国提出严正交涉。”</p><p style="font-size: 14px; line-height: 20px; margin-bottom: 15px;">耿爽补充说：“中国政府敦促美国有关议员慎重处理涉藏问题，停止同达赖方面任何形式的接触，并立即采取措施消除有关负面影响。”</p><p style="font-size: 14px; line-height: 20px; margin-bottom: 15px;">达赖喇嘛驻台湾代表达瓦才仁星期三接受本台采访时，谈到南希·佩洛西第二度率团访问达兰萨拉所具有的意义。</p><p style="font-size: 14px;
