line-height: 20px; font-size: 14px;"><strong>一、 基恩 •夏普其人</strong></p><p style="margin-bottom: 15px; line-height: 20px; font-size: 14px;">1） 学术成就：</p><p style="margin-bottom: 15px; line-height: 20px; font-size: 14px;">1983年创立阿尔伯特•爱因斯坦研究所，是该所的资深学者，拥有俄亥俄州立大学文学士和文学硕士及牛津大学政治理论哲学博士学位，还被授予曼哈顿学院法学博士和里维耶学院（Rivier College）人道服务博士荣誉学位。他是麻萨诸塞大学达特茅斯分校政治学荣誉教授，曾任教奥斯陆大学和麻萨诸塞大学波士顿校区，并且在哈佛大学国际问题中心从事将近三十年研究。</p><p style="margin-bottom: 15px; line-height: 20px; font-size: 14px;">他被称为“非暴力抵抗的教父“，是非暴力斗争的马基雅弗里和克劳塞维兹。他专精于非暴力抗争的哲学、政治学和社会学。他那部三卷本的《非暴力行动政治学》(The Politics of Nonviolent Action)堪称非暴力行动政治学的百科全书，该书已被译成17种文字。</p><p style="margin-bottom: 15px; line-height: 20px; font-size: 14px;">2） 现实感、行动性及公共关怀</p><p style="margin-bottom: 15px; line-height: 20px; font-size: 14px;">基恩 •夏普是一位极具现实感、行动性及公共关怀的知识人，并非象牙塔裡的书斋学者，他的目的是研究和宣传用非暴力手段推进自由主义的民主过程。他及他的作品常常出现在很多公共场合，特别是1989年中国的天安门事件以及苏东波前后， 我们很多人都深受其惠。</p><p style="margin-bottom: 15px; line-height: 20px; font-size: 14px;">他也曾关注台湾民主。夏普于1994年到过台湾，对台湾的民主发展情况有所了解。2011年12月，夏普提醒，若2012年中华民国总统选举民主进步党总统候选人胜选，不晓得中国独裁政权会有什麽反应，这将使台湾长达四个月的政权转移空窗期非常危险，必须有所防范。<br /><br /><strong>二、 基恩 •夏普的核心思想</strong></p><p style="margin-bottom: 15px; line-height: 20px; font-size: 14px;"><strong>非暴力</strong>行动基于如下洞见：即，政府的政治权力实际上是很脆弱的；即使独裁者的权力也有赖于民众的支持协助，如果民众收回他们的支持协助，独裁者的权力便被摧毁。</p><p style="margin-bottom: 15px; line-height: 20px; font-size: 14px;">从事非暴力抗争不必都是和平主义者，也不必都是圣徒；它可以是、也一直是普通人为了他们各自不同的事业而采取的行动。 基恩•夏普结合具体事例，详细地讨论了各种非暴力斗争的方法，探讨了面对暴力镇压如何运用各种非暴力斗争的策略技巧。基恩 •夏普的著作不仅在理论上富于启发性，尤其在实践上具有可操作性。</p><p style="margin-bottom: 15px;
